I have a bracelet with an unusual piece of polished stone, black with orange fossil-like inclusions. It would be great if someone could help me identify what this is. Many thanks! The back of the stone is rough and a brown color. enter image description here.

This is a silicified ammonite.

It doesn't have "fossil-like inclusions", the entire thing is a fossil.

  • $\begingroup$ Another information: these cut in half ammonites are typically from Madagascar. Gimelist is totally right $\endgroup$ – JulPal Dec 2 '18 at 20:40
