This is another rock I found on my first search in Easton, PA. I am just starting out and looking to gain knowledge, even on basic rocks and minerals.
Can you help me identify this?

The crystals look to be possibly quartz or topaz and the rock its self looks to be granite. I am no expert just using experience and identification technique.
Based on the geology of the area, very high chance it is metamorphic. Your rock looks like it is: - Mostly likely albite (feldspar) - quartz being gniess - Or partially gniess and partially quartzite.
