Is there any website where can I download ECHAM climate model data?

I downloaded a dataset from https://cera-www.dkrz.de/WDCC/ui/cerasearch/q?query=echam&page=0&rows=15 and its format is .grb
I tried to open the file in R with both raster and rgdal packages but I got the following error:
name_of_the_file.grb is a grib file, but no raster dataset was
successfully identified.
