How is it possible that gas is kilometers deep stored. Where does all the material come from? If new plankton would create more gas in a few 100 million years would it be at the similar depths. And in billions of years would these current reserves be 10s or 100 km deep? What if we could drill that deep? Were these oceans so much deeper? And was there just more land that now has eroded?
